I have received concerned emails regarding the stealing of mandarins from financially disadvantaged Spanish farmers. Please allow me to assuage those anxieties by explaining that only fallen ground fruit was harvested, so as to avoid damaging the trees or depleting the farmers' marketable crop volume.

Well, I guess it's okay then. Even the Bible commands the farmer, "And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather the fallen fruit of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and for the stranger." Lev. 19:10.
