Living the Dream
Loving life. Wake up, read some email, make some breakfast, ride my bike for a few hours in the sun - greedibly gobbling down sweet donut-type treats while descending an smooth, deserted road. Roll into town, back up the stairs, stretch, food, shower, sit out in the sun for a few hours. Come in to the refreshingly cool apartment, chill out, cook, eat, clean, watch TV, work on dorky stuff. It's the life.
Sam's a working man now. Got paid $90 euros for three days' work at the bike shop, paying for almost 2 months of his living expenses. Money in the pocket puts the spirits up.
Training for me over the past few weeks has been great. Knee pain subsiding little by little (knock on wood) and I've been rolling around quite a bit, enjoying the sunshine to the very last photon. Last week hit 22 hours with a day off. Solid.
I'm racing tomorrow... I'll let you know how it goes. Hopefully I'll find some time for some pictures. But that's the update for now.
